New Colors in Helen's Lace

Lorna's Laces New Spring 2010 Colors

A few days ago these colors arrived. UPS is due to arrive with the remaining colors today. See stock availability and order on the Helen's Lace Page.
With spring looming in front of us, now is the time for that really lightweight cardigan. This yarn would look beautiful over that spagetti strap top. Helen's Lace is thin, but it can be warm. I made a shrug outof it, in lace, and was surprised how much heat it kept close to my body. This knits really nice on the fine gauge (SK270 or SK830) or standard gauge (SK280 or SK840) knitting machines too. Steam block heavily with an hot iron and you have a really beautiful, whispy fabric.

Avondale
Tonal shades of acid rinsed denim, aqua and dolphin blue.

Humboldt
a dusty mauve, dusty moss and green gray.
(This is looking darker on my monitor than it really is. A very difficult color to reproduce digitally!)

Will have photos of this color up in a few days. Or you can look at the colors in the Shepherd Sock samples in the prior blog posting.

Pullman
Sober shades of charcoal and grey.
